First and foremost, you’ll want to do your movement routine at whatever time of the day you’re most likely to be consistent!

Consistency is the most important factor when considering when you should do your routines. Whatever time in your schedule that’s most predictable and repeatable is the best time!

If you’ve mastered consistency or have a flexible schedule, the best time to do your routine is often when you notice symptoms or movement imbalances are at their highest.

Do you wake up stiff and achy? Give morning routines a shot for a while and see what that does for you. You will most likely find doing your routine in the morning helps get your body moving. You also might find doing your routine right before bed helps you wake up feeling like you can move better as well and/or gives you a better night’s sleep.

Do you feel fatigued or “twisted up” after a long day of work? Try an evening routine to relax and unwind.

Play around with timing to find what helps and makes the most sense to you. Rest assured that you can’t choose a “wrong” time. Doing your routines every day, no matter when, IS what will help you transform your situation.
